Clear browser history
Your abuser may know advanced methods that can be used to track your activity on your home computer.
We recommend using private browsing so that your search history is not recorded.
Private browsing automatically ends when you close your browser window.
Please note that if you add bookmarks or download files, they will remain saved on your device.
If you believe it may be unsafe to use your home computer, try to access the internet from a safe place such as a public library, a school, an Internet café, or at the home of a trusted person.
To remove traces of your browsing activity, please follow the instructions below.
If you are using Internet Explorer:
- Click the “Tools” button (the gear icon in the upper-right corner). A menu will appear.
